Physical therapy is a field for which the need for trained professionals is far outpacing the numbers of individuals who are enrolling in physical therapy colleges and universities at every level. It is my belief that the reason for this is that many potential students simply do not know the process involved in how to become a physical therapist. Therefore, I have created this site which explains in an unbiased and straightforward way the educational paths required to become a physical therapist, a physical therapist assistant, and the numerous other positions within the broader umbrella of physical therapy.
Penny Thomas P.T., the owner and webmaster of How to Become a Physical Therapist, was a physical therapist for over 20 years. Now retired, Penny maintains How to Become a Physical Therapist regularly. So if you have any questions about your own pursuit of an education in the physical therapy field, or want to see a question addressed on this site, please email me at Penny#at#HowToBecomeAPhysicalTherapist.org
